Mirage (fka Captions)

PROJECT —— 01 · CURRENT ROLE

Currently, I’m a visual designer at the AI video company behind Captions. I design how a frontier AI company shows up in brand, launches, and product marketing for models that make video crafted, not just generated.

Mirage moves at model speed with research breakthroughs becoming product launches in weeks. My job is to give a deeply technical company a brand with taste: rigorous enough for a research paper, yet expressive enough for a feed full of creators.

That means working both ends of the spectrum by developing brand systems that keep Mirage and Captions coherent, and fast-turn launch design when a new feature ships.

Designing for a company that designs the future of video.

The storefront for an app in a million hands. Screenshots, feature graphics, and release assets designed to communicate an AI video editor in a two-second scroll.

X ASSETS

I design our static ad creative for paid channels, produced in variant sets and put to the test. Every ad is a hypothesis, but has to combine our design standards and branding with the informed insights from our performance marketing team.

Static Ads

These videos were a collaborative effort with PMM to create something with viral potential on X. We wanted to showcase our new plugin with ChatGPT: Tesseract. I was responsible for storyboarding the visuals and ensuring the art direction was executed successfully. The videos generated 1.9 million views collectively on X.

X Launch Videos

The everyday work that keeps a brand alive between launches: Instagram and X content, lifecycle emails that bring users back, and in-app one-time offers designed to convert without breaking the product's flow. No single asset is a case study — together, they're the brand's heartbeat.
